Los Desconocidos and The Migrant Quilt Project makes quilts made from recycled migrant clothing found at lay-up sites along the US/Mexico border, depicting the names of those who have perished in the borderlands in the Tucson Sector. Our mission is to raise awareness about the causes of migration and the deleterious U.S. foreign and domestic policies that have created the immigration crisis.   see: http://losdesconocidos.org/about/
